Ways to Calm the Self

It is amazing that when we grow up in chaos that in our adult years it is apart of our being. There is nothing wrong with it, we just have to identify that we live it now and as adults we can 'choose' and 'decide' to be calm.


Chaos is a programmed behavior we learn from adults in our lives, how our parents acted, reacted and behaved. And there is nothing wrong with it, we just pick up behaviors from 0-7 by just being there. We are in a semi hypnotic stage from 0-7 and absorb 'EVERY SINGLE BEHAVIOR' we are exposed to. So we just recycle it, until we recognize it and choose to re-educate our minds and take actions to retrain ourselves. Re is twice, so we have to self correct until we get use to it.


It is like children, we don't know our ABC's until it is repeated over and over for a year before we adapt to the steps, organization and order of the alphabet. We have to be gentle with ourselves when we adapts to the steps, organize and put our life back into an order that suits us today.


It takes about 90 days to shift a habit, first we are to be aware, so just be aware without judgment. Judgment will hinder growth, keep energy stuck and remember it just was and now we can do something about it. We are adults now and we can grow ourselves up, shift our behaviors, be better people and know that we can do what ever we want to now, learn what we want, expand our minds and simple choose and decide we want better in our life now.


So now that we have had a ton of memories come up in just a few paragraphs, we can now see the trail of memories that came up from this. Now simply say to yourself out loud "I have mastered the human behaviors of chaos, I give all the 'borrowed' behaviors back, I am now choosing to be calm and peaceful." Now take a deep breath, hold for two seconds and slowly release the breath. You have just given yourself permission to let it go, decided to release it. Now you can choose.


HOW TO CALM YOUR BROWN DOWN (the choice part):


The act of being calm comes from within and it is as simply as "Breathing I love you". Which will be on one of the videos (in the near future) to help you connect to your Higher Power, Mother Earth, your own Guides and your own Spirit. Breathing I love you brings in the bluish white energy from the other side, it will brighten you, lighten you and calm you right down. Remember slow DEEP BELLY BREATHS.


Practice Mindful Meditation, it is like watching TV without reacting to anything, you just want to observe and see things for exactly what it is. It is like numbing your mind, watching people, places, events and telling your brain 'we are just watching to learn." It teaches a person to observe to learn and that is where we can aim to be. And yes we are human, it takes practice to get to that place, again BE GENTLE.


You don't have to in a mindful meditation state, it is just remind yourself this will teach you to see everyone as your teacher. Everyone has a human behavior to teach us, to show us what we have to heal in ourselves and it sure gives us a clue in what triggers us. The tricks is to allow it so show you two things; who did this to me first (at any age) and where did I do this (at any age). It is our own memories in our bodies triggers saying "LET ME OUT! TALK ABOUT IT SO IT CAN LEAVE MY SPIRIT SO I CAN HEAL!" This also teaches you not to take things personal; its all about reflecting back on self.


Connect to your own spirit daily also helps; we can do this by grounding and allowing our spirit to connect to Mother Earth and heal (release old energy). Breathing exercises are also very important to help keep energy moving out of the body, expand your knowledge and learn now breathing exercises.


I like using candles and 'ask' it to open a direct doorway to the Other Side, to my Higher Power and to my Guides. Light it and simply say "I am asking a doorway to the other side to open up so I can speak to Creator and my own guides, only Creators love, light and healing energy is allowed in this connection and through this doorway. I ask to speak to good spirits who are from the light and speak the Absolute Truth." Then I talk to them like real people. I also do lots of asking, praying and setting intentions. The same can be used with a smudge bowl.


You can also have a sea salt bath to cleanse the spirit, ooooh dark energy does not like sea salt ;) So use it when smudge and incents aren't releasing heavy energy. Jump in salt and it will fly off, just remember to ask the Angels, Protectors and Warriors to take all darkness that leaves you back to the Other Side. If I have to, I will use a whole bag of Himalayan sea salt, which is about 8 cups. That is normally after a workshop or a few days of readings. 20 minutes maximum and I rest for the evening, drinking lots of healthy fluids. For regular clearings I will use 4 cups of Himalayan sea salt and 2 cups of Epson salts; with the same amount of time.


Remember, self care is SO IMPORTANT to everyone! That is a form of self love, so go love yourself!!
