Mental Health & Life Skills

The Mental Health & Life Skills workshop supports participants in developing greater self-awareness, personal reflection, self corrections, emotional regulation, and grounding techniques. Participants will learn practical tools to manage stress, understand their triggers and responses, cope with difficult emotions, and build resilience, self-confidence, and self-worth.

The workshop also focuses on strengthening everyday life skills, including healthy communication, boundary setting, conflict resolution, decision-making, problem-solving, personal responsibility, accountability, goal setting, action planning, following their intuition, using their gifts to guide them, and daily spiritual routines. These skills are intended to support participants in creating healthier patterns in their personal, family, and community lives.

Participants will also explore healthy relationship skills, parenting and family communication, self-care and wellness practices, spiritual wellness, connection to self, and reconnection with culture, land, and community. Each participant will be encouraged to create a personal healing plan that supports continued growth, balance, and healing after the workshop is complete
