
Traditional Grieving
The Indigenous Traditional Grieving workshop offers an in-depth exploration of how profound grief and loss can affect the mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Participants will be guided through teachings and practices that support self-awareness, self-correction, and personal healing. The workshop also provides practical and spiritual tools for reconnecting with the land and Mother Earth, helping to strengthen and restore balance within the whole being.
Each participant will be introduced to ancient Indigenous Knowledge intended to gently support them as they move through their grief and loss journey and begin finding a new sense of normal. The workshop will share steps for self-support, Indigenous practices, and personal ceremonies that can help individuals reconnect with themselves in a meaningful and compassionate way.
The workshop also shares the indigenous perspective of death, loss and how give a sense of relief knowing how the spiritual realm works. Barbara shares teachings openly about the spiritual realm, her own experiences, and answers questions and provides sacred ceremonies for participants who are seeking closure.
While grief and loss have no set timeline, this workshop provides a space for participants to feel acknowledged and supported in what they are experiencing, as well as what they have already endured. Through healthy self-help teachings and Indigenous Knowledge, participants will be reminded of the strength, wisdom, and healing capacity that already exists within them.
